HAKE aesthetic reflects Japanese notes to recognise their craft culture, which sees the value in the handmade and appreciation for items ageing well over time — to only make small quantities of handmade items with the intention that they will last a lifetime. We invite our Artists and artworks to have the same meaning. Founded in 2022 by Ash Holmes, Jake Elliott and Sammy Nugent, HAKE has become an immersive creative environment. HAKE now proudly represents a diverse roster of 22 wonderfully talented artists and displays monthly exhibitions, featuring a mix of emerging and established artists.
